Last night, the coach of Aurora, Fabre, recorded and released a five-minute video addressed to Turkish fans. He attempted to explain the reasons behind the team's high-profile transition from Eternal Fire to a new tag and responded to the wave of negativity that flooded social media. Fabre assured that it wasn't about the money, and the team remains true to its principles.
Eternal Fire is no more
It all began with the unexpected announcement that the entire main roster of Eternal Fire was moving under the Aurora banner. The lineup includes: XANTARES, Wicadia, woxic, MAJ3R, and jottAAA. This sparked strong discontent among EF fans, claiming the team had betrayed its identity and simply "sold out." The backlash was so intense that coach Fabre had to record a video message to personally explain the situation.

A new organization as a necessity, not a choice
Despite the wave of criticism, Fabre confidently stated that the move to Aurora was a necessary step, not a betrayal for money. He emphasized that the team was at a standstill within the old organization and couldn't move forward.
We were forced to move to a new organization/sell the team because we had no opportunity to play in the Turkish organization. The decision to sell was made by our leader at Eternal Fire - Furkan Güven, also known as 1NCON.Fabre
According to him, the team simply didn't have the resources to compete with the world's strongest teams:
We had to move to a new club to compete with teams like FaZe/Vitality/G2/NAVI if we want to dream of victories and stay at the top.Fabre
He also reminded that the players have consciously turned down more lucrative contracts for years to play for the national team. Even XANTARES rejected offers with salaries 5–10 times higher just to stay in the Turkish project. All of this, according to the coach, clearly shows that the team's motivation was not financial.

In conclusion, Fabre addressed the fans with an important message, emphasizing that the team remains true to its roots and will continue to represent Turkey on the international stage. He did not hide that the path will be challenging but expressed hope for understanding and support:
We will continue to use our flag wherever we go and strive to make you proud of us. We know this journey won't last forever and have decided not to end it right now. If you want to stay with us and support us throughout the journey, we are happy to welcome you, and we will continue to fight for you. If you do not wish to support us, that is also quite understandable, goodbye.Fabre
The transition to Aurora could be an opportunity for the team to reach the next level and finally compete for major trophies. This move is not just a change of tag. It's a turning point for all of Turkish esports. The team has ambition, history, and talent. Now they have the most important thing — a chance.
