The ESL Challenger League Season 48 playoff grid is already known! The tournament, organized by FACEIT, has been running since mid-July 2024 and will end on October 20, 2024. Participants are fighting for their chance to win a part of the $100,000 prize pool, as well as for the opportunity to get into the ESL Pro League Season 21.
Playoff format and participants
The playoffs are held in a double-elimination format. Teams that lose in the top bracket have a chance to return through the bottom bracket. All matches except the final are played in Best of 3 (bo3) format, and the grand final will be played in Best of 5 (bo5) format. The winner of the top bracket will receive one advantage card in the final.

Prize pool
The prize pool of the tournament is 100 000 USD, of which 15 000 will go to the first place team. In addition to the monetary reward, the top two teams will receive quotas for the ESL Pro League Season 21, which is the main goal for most participants.
The prize distribution is as follows:
- 1st place: 15 000 USD + quota to ESL Pro League S21
- 2nd place: 10 000 USD + quota to ESL Pro League S21
- 3rd place: 8 000 USD
- 4th place: 6 500 USD
