BLEED faces additional claims from other organizations

The BLEED team continues to suffer from financial woes, and now the players and coach have expressed their dissatisfaction publicly due to numerous delays in payments. The coach, Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunovic, along with the main players, including Joakim “jkaem” Mirbostad, Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic, Vladan “VLDN” Radevic and David “h4rn” Benchev, have issued a public statement about the termination of their contract with BLEED. Several organizations also confirmed to HLTV that they had problems with transfers from BLEED.

Problems with payment and prize money

The main problem remains unpaid salaries, funding for boot camps, and partial payments for player transfers. In their statement, the players claim that since December last year, when the organization started participating in CS2 competitions, salaries have been delayed for several months. In addition, 60% of the prize money has not yet been paid, and the players and the coach covered the costs of the boot camps themselves.

The decision to play under a different banner

Due to the current problems, the players decided to temporarily play in the RES Regional Champions and Thunderpick World Championship tournaments under the name “UNPAID”. Joakim “jkaem” Mirbostad wrote:

"Sad days. We tried our best with multiple different roster, but with all the stuff ongoing around it was impossible to perform at our best. Future is uncertain for now, but we will be finishing up the two next tournaments under a different banner."

Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic added:

“Unfortunate circumstances involving the org for a very long time. Will be playing the upcoming events with the boys now.”

Financial problems of BLEED

It is worth noting that the problems concern not only the CS2 roster, but also other disciplines such as Dota2, Valorant, and Rainbow Six. Representatives of other teams also reported delays in payment and breach of contracts.

According to Vladan “VLDN” Radevic:

“Sadly this shit keeps happening, insane luck with organisations.”

And David “h4rn” Benchev added emoticons hinting at the hopelessness of the situation.

Additional claims from other organizations

The Apeks organization has officially confirmed that it has not received funds for the transfers of players Tim “nawwk” Jonasson and Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad, who joined BLEED in May this year. Apeks is waiting for the financial obligations to be finalized, but no payments have been received so far.

Petar “peca” Markovic, the general manager of G2, noted that they also have “unresolved issues” with BLEED, but for legal reasons, the details of this situation cannot be discussed publicly at this time.

NIP representatives confirmed that although they eventually received payment for the transfer of Hampus “hampus” Poser, the process was long and problematic. Delays and difficulties in cooperation have become commonplace in communication with BLEED.

The Falcons organization confirmed that they had received all the funds for the loan of player Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea for a two-month period earlier this year. The Falcons were the only team to receive the promised payments from BLEED in full.

These developments add even more uncertainty to the future of BLEED, as other teams and organizations may make similar claims in the near future.
