es3tag left the NIP organization

Patrick "es3tag" Hansen is no longer part of Ninjas in Pyjamas. This was officially confirmed by the Swedish club after eight months on the bench. The Danish player's three-year collaboration with the team has come to an end, leaving questions about his future.

During his time at NIP, es3tag constantly switched roles in the roster, sometimes playing in the main lineup and other times ending up on the bench. He spent almost half of his time with the team adapting to constant roster changes.

Best Period of es3tag with NIP

es3tag's greatest success came in the first half of 2022 when he joined the lineup following Nicolai "device" Reedtz's departure. The team managed to reach the semifinals of ESL Pro League Season 15 and the quarterfinals at PGL Major Antwerp. Additionally, NIP claimed victory at the Global Esports Tour Dubai, marking one of the highlight wins for es3tag with the Swedish team.

However, in the second half of 2022, the team's results started to decline, leading to changes in the roster. es3tag found himself on the bench and did not return to the main lineup until the end of 2023, when the new general manager Björn "THREAT" Pers began rebuilding the team.

Career of es3tag

Over his nine-year career, es3tag has played for more than ten teams, with his most notable victory being first place at ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe alongside Astralis, where they managed to defeat NAVI in the final and earn $99,000.

In addition to this, he played for Cloud9, Complexity, and HEROIC. Throughout his career, he has earned over $273,000 in prize money, which is a significant amount. This is without considering the earnings from stickers, which also brought him considerable income.

The Future of es3tag Remains Uncertain

The latest blow for es3tag came after NIP failed to qualify for the first CS2 Major at PGL Copenhagen. After that, he was back on the bench, and hasn't returned to the active roster since February. He has also made no public statements about his departure and has barely been on social media since his last suspension.
