Thunderpick World Championship 2024 announced the teams that will compete for four spots in the championship finals in Berlin. The MongolZ, 3DMAX, NIP, 9z, and Aurora received invites, completing the team list and announcing the start dates.
s1mple Debut
Particular attention is on the match between Falcons and 3DMAX, where Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev will debut for Falcons after a 3-month loan. The match between the teams will take place on October 21 at 12:30.
The match will be the opening of the tournament, making it an interesting spectacle for everyone right from the start. The return of the legendary s1mple is eagerly awaited by many.
Qualification Details
A total of 6 teams out of 16 qualified here, namely BLEED, Cloud9, M80, Legacy, Imperial, and BESTIA. They won 1 of 2 Local tournaments in their region, allowing them to enter a major tournament and showcase their skills on a large international stage with a chance to qualify for LAN.

Tournament Format
Each group will play in a GSL system, with winners proceeding to the play-in stage. Winners of the play-in matches will gain tickets to the finals in Berlin, where $770,000 of the total $850,000 prize pool will be contested.
