The reshuffle season is in full swing as all teams are preparing for the new game version, which is set to be released this summer. Teams still have a whole 9 months until the next Major, so they will be taking risks and experimenting with rosters.
According to insiders, the official beta version of the game, which will be available to all players, will be released on July 25th. The bo3.gg editorial team has gathered the hottest rumors about upcoming roster changes, as well as those that have already been officially confirmed.
Let's start with the main rumors
BOROS has received 3 invitations to other teams
According to insiders, the Jordanian player has received offers from Falcons, OG, and Evil Geniuses. However, the most intense negotiations are reportedly taking place with the organization from Saudi Arabia - Falcons Esports.
The chance of BOROS accepting offers from other teams is very high, even though his team, Monte, reached the playoffs and placed 5th-8th at the last major, BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
But why is that? It's all because of a new directive from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, which is likely to soon ban Ukrainian players from traveling abroad.
flameZ may move to Team Vitality
There have been rumors that either Team Vitality wants to part ways with five-time Major champion Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, or he himself is tired of the game and wants to leave. This is where flameZ is reportedly being considered to fill his spot!
Additionally, Team Liquid has shown interest in the Israeli player. They want to keep YEKINDAR as the team's captain and find a strong rifler.
However, it is a fact that there are heated negotiations taking place for the young and highly promising rifler.
siuhy may move to G2 or return to MOUZ
Camille "siuhy" Shkaradek, the young captain of GamerLegion who led his team to the semi-finals of the recent Major, where they lost to Team Vitality, is attracting interest from various top-tier teams.
However, these are currently only rumors, and no one has received confirmed information yet.
electroNic and Perfecto have received an offer from Cloud9
Two players from Natus Vincere have received offers from the American organization, Cloud9. It is currently unclear which positions these renowned players might take.
However, there are speculations that two Kazakh players, Abay "HObbit" Khasenov and Timur "buster" Tulepov, might leave the roster this summer. This would allow Cloud9 to assemble a lineup exclusively consisting of Russian players.
Since Na'Vi didn't have the best outcome this season, the team is concerned about their future prospects.
Rumors suggest that Na'Vi doesn't see potential in the Ukrainian scene and intends to transition to an English-speaking lineup. They are in need of a captain, a fragger, and a fifth position player, which further pushes them towards making changes. The team captain, Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, has recently been working on his English skills to at least give interviews in a foreign language.
However, communicating in English during matches will pose difficulties. The situation is slightly better for support player Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy, but there will still be noticeable challenges with in-game communication in English.
npl will leave Natus Vincere
According to numerous rumors and unsatisfactory results, the young rifler of the team, Andrey "npl" Kukharskiy, will soon be leaving the lineup.
However, nothing is currently known about the player's future and there are no specific rumors circulating.
fnatic focuses on players from Eastern Europe
Swedish organization fnatic has invited a large number of young talents from Eastern Europe for trials.
IKLA forms an international lineup
Interestingly, the organization plans to have two lineups, one of which will remain entirely Ukrainian, while the other will be international.
Since the roster lock for BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023, the upcoming tournament for most teams, is set for June 22nd, official announcements from clubs may be expected in the coming days.
However, it is not entirely ruled out that teams may compete in this tournament with temporary substitutes, and the final five-player lineup will be presented before IEM Cologne 2023 or the autumn EPL Season 18.
