The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine has made amendments to the resolution and order regarding the participation of Ukrainian athletes in international tournaments where players from Russia and Belarus are present. After lengthy discussions and consideration of aspects related to political relations between the countries, a decision was made to modify the restrictions.

Initially, the resolution indicated a complete ban on the participation of the Ukrainian team in such tournaments, which caused some controversy and criticism from the international community. However, after careful analysis and consideration of various factors, changes were made to the first point. Now the wording states that official Ukrainian delegations should not send athletes to tournaments where athletes from Russia and Belarus are present. This is a more flexible solution that maintains certain restrictions but allows dialogue and interaction within the framework of sports events.

However, the decision to ban the participation of Ukrainian athletes in international tournaments will not have a positive impact on Ukrainian esports players. These changes do not hold much significance for them, as they are still forbidden from obtaining permission to participate in international competitions where Russians and Belarusians are present. This causes dissatisfaction and disappointment among Ukrainian esports players who face difficulties in developing and advancing their career due to these restrictions.

Now, players from Monte and B8 are unlikely to make it to various LAN championships at all. Which in turn can lead to the disbandment of teams.

Thus, Ukraine's decision to change its policy regarding participation in international sports tournaments involving Russian and Belarusian athletes is a compromise step. It reflects an attempt to balance political and sports interests while maintaining interaction between countries in the field of sports. However, further discussion and solutions are needed to improve conditions for Ukrainian esports players and ensure their equal opportunities on the international stage.
