Yesterday the seventh tournament of CCT Central Europe series ended, in the final of which the Russian team 1WIN outplayed ALTERNATE aTTaX. Three cards were played in the decisive match and even the lost Mirage spade did not prevent 1WIN from triumphing. The team received $22,000 for winning the tournament, while their opponent earned $10,000.
In the course of the event, 1WIN faced RUBIK (2:0), Looking4Org (2:1) and Monte (2:0). The semifinals were very close and could have easily ended with the opposite result. First, it went to overtime on Mirage, and then 1WIN was able to make the comeback with a 13:7 score on Nuke's own pick. The opponent made a lot of mistakes, and the Russian team successfully took advantage of these opportunities.
For 1WIN, this was the third tournament final from CCT. The first time was at CCT Central Europe Series 1 when the team defeated Aurora, FORZE and Falcons in the playoffs but lost to MIBR in the finals. The next time was at CCT North Europe Series 1 with wins over Into The Breach, SAW and Tricked and a loss to Entropiq.
Overall, 1WIN have already earned $48,000 in prize money from CCT tournaments and are ranked 11th among all teams. Leading this ranking are FORZE ($135,000) and Virtus.pro ($100,000), who won CCT Online Finals 1 and CCT Online Finals 2 respectively.
