Lee Sang-hyeok

Info

Considered by many to be one of the most famous professional League of Legends players, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok was born on May 7, 1996, in Seoul, South Korea. He found gaming at an early age, and then League of Legends took center stage in 2011. Faker at age 17 left school for a career in esports with T1, who signed him back in 2013 to be their mid-laner.

As a rookie, Faker won the LCK and his first World Championship with his fearless game, earning him the "The Unkillable Demon King" nickname. Within his career, Faker Esports legend gathered five World Championships, a record of being the player with 10 league titles in the LCK, and record-breaking stats: first player to reach 3,000 kills in the LCK and 5,000 assists. These Faker stats seal the deal that he is the best in the game.

At a height of 175 cm, he has been part-owner of T1 since 2020-a sign of dedication both to himself as a team player and to esports. Still performing this high at 28 years old, he is a sight to see. Be it Faker LoL or the "Michael Jordan of esports," there simply has not been anyone bigger to make such an impact on gaming. Fun fact: Faker's calm and focused personality is reflected in his unique habit of eating broccoli on stage after key wins.
