Developers from GSC Game World studio have showcased two artifacts that will appear in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. One of them, "Stone Heart", is entirely new.
Among the artifacts displayed, which will be present in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, is the “Kolobok”. This is a well-known anomaly to fans of the series that provides tear protection for the artifact's owner. Visually, this item is almost the same but is, of course, more detailed with a green core featuring black spikes.
The second artifact is the “Stone Heart”. It has not appeared in the franchise before. Externally, this anomaly resembles a figure that can truly be called a heart. According to the description provided by the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, the artifact's origin remains unknown, and its effect increases the density of the owner’s connective tissue, allowing them to carry more valuable scrap. Thus, it can be assumed that the item either increases the number of slots for the stalker or reduces the weight of existing items.
No one knows for sure the man who found it first and created the tale. To this day, stalkers claim the controller’s heart resembles this common gravitational artifact... Any recorded disproof hasn’t appeared yet, though.
