The developers at Kinetic Games are bringing back seasonal events in Phasmophobia, and the first event of 2025 kicks off on April 17 — a chilling Easter-themed event titled "Cursed Hollow." The event will run until May 8 and will be available on all major platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PSVR 2. The event supports crossplay, allowing players to team up with friends regardless of their platform.
During the event, players will explore nine festively decorated maps, including a revamped version of Bleasdale Farmhouse. The main goal is to find special jackalope totems that trigger random effects — some of which may aid in investigations, while others make ghost hunts more difficult.
Lead developer Daniel Knight stated that the team has taken into account player feedback from previous events. For "Cursed Hollow," the reward system has been completely revamped, and new gameplay modifiers have been added to make the event more dynamic and engaging.
The "Cursed Hollow" event marks the first of three seasonal events planned for 2025. The next themed events are scheduled for Halloween and the winter holidays. Upcoming updates announced by Kinetic Games include:
