HoYoverse has officially revealed the second phase of Event Wishes for Genshin Impact Version 5.7, set to launch on July 8, 2025, and run through July 30, 2025. This phase brings two highly anticipated 5-Star characters, Mavuika and Emilie, along with a trio of strong 4-Star units: Iansan, Xiangling, and Yao Yao.
With the Natlan storyline entering its final chapters, HoYoverse is pulling no punches. Players can now wish for Mavuika, a 5-Star Pyro Claymore wielder known for her versatility in Melt, Vaporize, Overload, and Burning teams. Unlike recent Pyro units reliant on niche synergies (such as Skirk’s dependency on Escoffier), Mavuika offers broad elemental compatibility, especially when paired with fellow Natlan characters.
Alongside her is Emilie, a 5-Star Dendro Polearm user whose underrated support potential makes her a great fit for Burning-focused teams. While she flew under the radar at launch, Emilie’s strength lies in her synergy with Dendro-based reactions and her ability to boost elemental uptime.
The supporting cast of 4-Stars in this phase is arguably the real highlight. Iansan returns as one of the game’s best Electro Supports, offering immense value through her Constellations and off-field utility. Xiangling, a launch-day favorite, remains a top-tier Pyro DPS or sub-DPS for National teams and reaction setups. Yao Yao provides solid Dendro healing and makes a great addition to Bloom or Burgeon teams.
The Weapon Banner, however, is less enticing. While Lumidouce Elegy (Emilie’s Polearm) and A Thousand Blazing Suns (Mavuika’s signature Claymore) are both powerful options for their respective owners, the accompanying 4-Star pool is underwhelming. Weapons like Rust and Rainslasher add limited value unless you're building specific niche teams. Unless you're committed to optimizing Mavuika or Emilie, skipping the Weapon Banner may be the smarter move.
With Version 5.8 set to introduce newcomers Mualani, Citlali, and Chasca, and the debut of the Pyro Archon expected before we arrive in Nod-Krai, players are faced with a critical decision. Those who invested heavily in Escoffier or Skirk might find their Primogem reserves stretched thin. Meanwhile, players holding out for the upcoming region and the long-anticipated Ineffa may prefer to save rather than splurge.
The second phase of Genshin Impact 5.7 brings some serious firepower, both literal and strategic. Whether you're chasing Mavuika's elemental flexibility or Emilie's Dendro support, this banner offers strong options for team-building. Just remember: with Nod-Krai on the horizon and the Pyro Archon looming, timing your wishes wisely could make all the difference.
