FromSoftware has dropped a fresh patch for ELDEN RING: NIGHTREIGN, rolling out Update 1.01.5 across all major platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. While this update isn’t stacked with new content, it delivers key bug fixes, especially for players battling one of the game’s more sinister foes.

• Fixed an issue where the Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest boss encounter could become stuck, blocking progression.
• Resolved a bug where this boss could sometimes appear outside the battle area, causing chaos or more likely, frustration.

These fixes should make the already intense Everdark Sovereign fight a bit more stable, letting players focus on survival rather than glitches. Small update, but important for comfortable play.

Return of the Everdark Sovereigns

The first three Sovereign Bosses are making their return in rotating windows. Here's when you can challenge each one:

If you missed a boss the first time around, now’s your chance to face them again. The Sentient Pest, in particular, should no longer cause arena issues following the latest patch.

Online Play Notice

Online functionality requires this update. Once the patch is downloaded:

1. Restart the game
2. Apply the latest regulation files
3. Return to your game save 

Make sure to check the version listed in the lower right corner of the title screen. If your Regulation Version doesn’t say 1.01.7, you’ll need to log in to the server and update manually.
