A wave of leaks has unveiled details about Zenless Zone Zero version 2.0, which will bring festive rewards, new playable agents, Drive Disc sets, costumes, and more. Most of the information comes from a user with the nickname Zenless Zone Leaks on the social network X (Twitter) and Reddit posts, but others have also contributed.

Massive Festive Rewards in Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0

According to insider Palito, the release of Zenless Zone Zero version 2.0 coincides with the game's first anniversary celebration and will bring players a true treasure trove of rewards. Sources report that players will receive:

• 1600 Polychrome
• a free S-rank agent (five-star hero)
• a free S-rank W-Engine (five-star hero)
• 20 Encrypted Master Tapes, which will be obtainable through two special login events. One of these events is "Boopon".
• A special title
• A special avatar

If this information is confirmed, the free S-rank character could be similar to HoYoverse's festive giveaways in other games, such as the five-star selection in Honkai: Star Rail. Although the specific agent has not been named, speculation points to a choice from the standard pool, but there is a possibility it could be a limited character, like Asaba Harumasa.

New Drive Disc Sets

Version 2.0 will not only add new agents but also expand the equipment system. A leak from New Eridu News Stand revealed two new Drive Disc sets: "Cloud Mist Like Me" and "Mountain King".

"Cloud Mist Like Me" boosts HP and Crit Rate, making it particularly suitable for DPS agents who actively use special attacks and ultimates. On the other hand, "Mountain King" enhances stun value and critical damage.

These sets hint at the playstyles of future agents, such as Yi Xuan and Pan Yinhu. Yi Xuan is expected to be an ether-element DPS agent, while Pan Yinhu will specialize in stun mechanics.

New Agents and Banner Structure

Insiders have also provided a glimpse into the banner structure of version 2.0. According to users Flying Flame and Seele Leaks, the game will feature two new S-rank agents: Yi Xuan and Ju Fufu.

Yi Xuan will lead the first phase alongside a rerun banner of Astra Yao, while Ju Fufu will appear in the second phase with Caesar. Rumors suggest that Yi Xuan will wield ether-element powers with a new combat type. Ju Fufu, her apprentice, will debut as a fire-element agent.

Additionally, an A-rank agent, Pan Yinhu, will make his first appearance in the game, likely strengthening the ranks of stun specialists.

New Costumes and Cosmetics in Zenless Zone Zero

The upcoming update is expected to bring new cosmetics for several characters. Notably, skins for Hoshimi Miyabi and Yi Xuan will be available for purchase in the in-game store, with Miyabi's costume receiving altered skill effects. Meanwhile, players will be able to obtain costumes for Wise and Belle for free by logging in during the festive event.

The new skin for Yi Xuan is reported to combine elements of traditional Chinese fashion with modern design, highlighting version 2.0's aesthetic focus on cultural influence.

Apart from all the aforementioned leaks, insiders are sharing various screenshots and other details about the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero update. Among these is information that ZZZ will feature a Mahjong minigame.

The look of the new map shown in leaked images hasn't pleased players much. Users describe it as cheap-looking and unattractive, hoping it's not the final version that will be added to the game.
