The Zandalar Tribe is a faction of Zandalari trolls associated with the Zul'Gurub raid. As one of the oldest and most respected troll tribes, the Zandalar Tribe is considered the progenitor of all other troll tribes that came later.

The Zandalar Tribe faction and the Zul'Gurub raid became available to players with the release of Phase Four of World of Warcraft Classic. In this guide, we'll cover how to increase your reputation with the Zandalar Tribe and what rewards you can earn from doing so.

Zandalar Tribe Location

The Zandalar Tribe is located on Yojamba Island, near the eastern shores of Stranglethorn Vale. On Yojamba Island, players can find vendors who sell items in exchange for Zandalar Tribe reputation points and NPCs who provide quests.

Yojamba Island is not accessible by flight. The nearest flight point for Horde players is Grom'gol Base Camp in Stranglethorn Vale, while Alliance players can reach the island by flying to Darkshire, located in Duskwood.

How to Get Zandalar Tribe Reputation 

Killing Mobs and Bosses

You can gain Zandalar Tribe reputation points by completing various quests and killing specific types of enemies associated with the Zul'Gurub raid. A full Zul'Gurub run can give you up to 3,000 reputation points.

Reputation Value from Mobs in Zul'Gurub:

• Trash mobs: 3 to 5 reputation
• Speaker mobs: 15 reputation
• Edge of Madness bosses (Gri'lek, Renataki, Hazza'rah, Wushoolay): 25 reputation
• Other bosses (High Priest Venoxis, High Priestess Jeklik, High Priest Thekal, High Priestess Arlokk, Gahz'ranka): 100 reputation
• Major bosses (Bloodlord Mandokir, Jin'do the Hexxer): 200 reputation
• Hakkar: 200 reputation

Quest: "A Collection of Heads"

On Yojamba Island, you can meet the NPC Exzhal, who will give you a quest to kill specific troll bosses and collect their five heads (you can kill the same mob after it respawns). Completing this quest will grant you 200 Zandalar Tribe reputation points at Neutral rank and up to 500 at Revered rank.

Repeatable Coin Quests

While completing certain quests, you can obtain coins (tokens), which can be exchanged with the NPC Vinchaxa for additional Zandalar Tribe rep points. There are a total of 9 tokens, collected in sets of 3 coins.

Each set gives you an additional 25 Zandalar Tribe reputation points. You will also receive a Zandalar Honor Token, which can be exchanged for an item from the Zandalar reputation vendors or traded for 50 extra WoW Classic Zandalar Tribe reputation. These coins are not bound to your character and can be bought or sold at the auction house, unlike Zandalar Honor Tokens.

Quests:

• Zulian, Razzashi, and Hakkari Coins — 3 coins
• Sandfury, Skullsplitter, and Bloodscalp Coins — 3 coins
• Gurubashi, Vilebranch, and Witherbark Coins — 3 coins

Repeatable Quest: A Bijou for Zanza

Vinchaxa also offers the quest "A Bijou for Zanza", where you need to destroy a Hakkari Bijou on the Zanza Altar. To start the quest, you'll need to find a Hakkari Bijou.

Destroying the Bijou grants 75 Zandalar Tribe reputation points. As a reward, you'll also receive a Zandalar Honor Token, which can be exchanged for an additional 50 reputation points.

For completing the quest, you'll receive 150 reputation points and another Zandalar Honor Token via mail after 24 hours. In total, you will gain 375 reputation points from completing the quest. You can find and destroy more Bijous on the altar for additional WoW Classic Zandalar Tribe rep.

Bijous are not bound to your character and can be bought or sold at the auction house in World of Warcraft Classic.

Zandalar Reputation Rewards

At the vendor Rin'wosho on Yojamba Island, you can purchase various recipes depending on your reputation level. These recipes allow you to craft different profession enhancements or potions with beneficial effects.

Class-Specific Rewards

Unlike other dungeons and raid bosses, class-specific rewards do not drop in Zul'Gurub. Instead, special tokens drop from local bosses, which can be exchanged for class rewards depending on your Zandalar Tribe reputation. The type of item you can receive also depends on your reputation.

Rewards include:

• Trinkets (Neutral)
• Necklaces (upgradeable from Friendly to Exalted)
• Bracers (Friendly)
• Shoulders or Belt (Honored)
• Chest or Shoulders (Revered)

To obtain trinkets, you must defeat four minibosses in the Edge of Madness area, located in the middle of the Zul'Gurub raid. There, you'll find a brazier and plaques on the wall.

By interacting with them, you will summon bosses: Gri'lek, Renataki, Hazza'rah, and Wushoolay. It may take a month to defeat all of them, as they appear according to a rotation calendar. Afterward, you can collect your class-specific trinkets.
