In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you'll encounter several ziplines on the main islands. Each zipline has a switch that enables you to ride it and travel quickly between islands. However, before you can activate the zipline, you'll first need to learn how to repair it.

How Many Ziplines are There?

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, there are three ziplines in total. These ziplines crossses from:

• Seaside Resort to Spooky Swamp.
• Spooky Swamp to Gemstone Mountain.
• Gemstone Mountain to Mount Hothead.

Although the Fast Travel Mailboxes are great options for travel, you can also ride the ziplines to access certain checkpoints quickly. 

How to Use Ziplines

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, players cannot use the ziplines right away, as they first need to be repaired. When interacting with the Zipline Switch, the game will notify you that "someone who runs around the island might know how they work."

Increase Friendship with Pochacco

To begin using the ziplines, you must befriend Pochacco and reach Friendship Level 4. To increase your bond with Pochacco, gift him his favorite items, such as Tofu, Spinip, and Veggie Bread. To speed up your progress, gift him more valuable items like Veggie Crepe, Everything Pizza, or Pochacco Energy Pop. Note that these higher-value gifts require completing specific quests and unlocking features like the pizza oven and soda machine.

Once you reach Friendship Level 4 with Pochacco, you will unlock the quest "A Zipline Adventure." This quest teaches you how to repair the ziplines, allowing you to use them for faster travel.

Start "A Zipline Adventure" Quest

To start using ziplines in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you must first interact with Chococat. You can track "A Zipline Adventure" quest via active quests to know where to find Chococat or simply head to his usual spot near the crafting table.

Chococat will inform you that you need Sparks to repair ziplines and pass you the Sparks Crafting Plan. To craft x1 Sparks, you need x3 Light Stones. You can earn Light Stones by gifting Kuromi her favorite items, which include Pumpkins and the more valuable Jack-O-Lanterns.

Craft Sparks to Repair Ziplines

To craft Sparks, head to any crafting table in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Find Sparks in the crafting menu and select "Craft" to convert your three Light Stones into one Spark.

Then, follow the yellow cloud trail to reach the first zipline. Interact with it to repair it. Once the game confirms that "the zipline is now operational," you've successfully repaired your first zipline!

Use the Zipline to Complete Quest

Click on the zipline again - this time a blue exclamation mark will be available above it. You and your Sanrio friends will start riding the zipline and arrive at the Spooky Swamp shortly after! Interact with Pochacco and he will remind you that there are more ziplines around the islands that you can repair and use. This completes "A Zipline Adventure" quest!
