Phase One: Surviving The Ice King’s Fury

1. The Battle Begins

The fight kicks off as the Ice King shatters the platform you’re standing on, leaving only the central area intact. Your goal here is to dodge his attacks while staying on the remaining safe ground.

• Follow on-screen prompts and paw-print markers to avoid falling.
• A cutscene will trigger, transforming Zoe and Mio into their Monkey and Tree forms.

Now, the real fight begins.

2. Ice Pillars & Arena-Wide Attacks

• The Ice King launches tall ice pillars at Zoe and Mio. Dodge these by dashing or stepping aside.
• Next, he unleashes an ice wave across the arena. Jump over it to avoid damage.

3. The Ice King’s Weakness

• When the Ice King stands on his hind legs, he exposes a crest around his midsection.
• Zoe (in Tree form) must grapple onto the crest and pull him down.
• This opens him up for Mio (in Monkey form) to unleash a flurry of attacks.

Tip: Be quick. If Zoe doesn’t act fast enough, the Ice King will repeat his attack cycle.

4. New Attack Patterns

Once a chunk of his health is gone, he introduces new attacks:

• Molten ice spikes emerge across the arena.
• The Ice King charges through the center, dealing heavy damage if he hits you.

Once again, wait for him to stand up and repeat the grapple and attack sequence to deal more damage.

5. The Ice Slide Transition

After dealing significant damage, a cutscene will trigger:

• The platform collapses, sending Zoe and Mio down an ice slide filled with obstacles.
• Jump and steer carefully to avoid damage.
• At the bottom, head through the corridor into the final boss arena.

Phase Two: The Ice King’s Final Stand

1. Underwater Mayhem & Ice Tornadoes

• The Ice King plunges Zoe and Mio underwater.
• A massive ice tornado appears in the center, surrounded by smaller tornadoes.
• Survive until the tornadoes vanish, revealing a glowing red flower underwater.

2. Mio’s Otter Form Attack

• Mio must transform into her Otter form and swim down to interact with the flower.
• Toss the flower to the surface where Zoe can grapple it and hurl it at the Ice King.
• Once stunned, Mio needs to punch the Ice King repeatedly.

Tip: The attack window is short, if you take too long, the Ice King resets his attack cycle.

3. The Final Blow

• The Ice King freezes the water, preventing you from diving.
• He unleashes a new explosive projectile attack—make sure these explode on the ice to break it.
• Avoid another tornado attack until the ice is shattered.
• Once the water is open again, repeat the Otter form attack sequence one last time.

After this final assault, the Ice King falls, and the kingdom is saved.
