To upgrade a structure, approach the built structure and interact with its terminal. Choose the option to contribute materials. Each structure requires its own set of resources. For example, a generator only needs 400 Metals. Larger structures, like bridges, require more.

Once you’ve contributed all the necessary resources, the structure will be upgraded, and customization will become available. From this point, the structure transforms from a tool into a means of self-expression.

At level 2, the first customization option that unlocks is the hologram. These can be simple shapes or thematic projections that appear next to the structure.
