In Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, there is a lot of new weaponry that will expand your arsenal and allow you to experiment with different builds in the game. All the weapons in Elden Ring Shadow can be divided into various categories, allowing you to choose your own play style. In this article, we will look at all the daggers that can be found in the DLC Shadow of the Erdtree.

There are only 3 daggers in the expansion, but they can be useful in certain situations.

Fire Knight's Shortsword

You can obtain the Fire Knight's Shortsword by defeating the Fire Knights, who wield this weapon. They can be found in the Specimen Storehouse location, which is inside the Shadow Keep dungeon.

This dagger can perform very fast and piercing strikes, dealing 75 physical damage and 22 base fire damage. It also allows you to perform the Quickstep skill, which lets you circle around a locked-on target.

• Can be infused with Ashes of War
• Can be enchanted with magic or consumables

To increase the chances of this weapon dropping, you should improve your Discovery stat by leveling up your arcane attribute or using items that increase Discovery, such as Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot or Silver Horn Tender.

Main-gauche

The next dagger, Main-gauche, can be found by searching the corpse of a commoner inside the room with spears and shields in the Main Gate Plaza area of the Shadow Keep dungeon.

To get this weapon, head northwest from the Main Gate Plaza Site of Grace in Shadow Keep, go through three doorways and up the stairs to the platform with cages, raven nests, and two soldiers. Defeat the enemies on this platform, go a short distance up the next stairs, and enter the doorway on the right leading to the room with spears, where there will be a pair of guards.

Carefully enter, defeat all the soldiers and the black knight on the floor, then go to the spot where the knight was when you entered the room and search the body to obtain the Main-gauche.

Main-gauche is a fast weapon designed for the left hand. It allows you to perform the Parry skill and execute a critical strike on an enemy who attacked you if you time it well. This item does not require FP to use the ability, can be infused with Ashes of War, and can be enchanted with magic and consumables, and upgraded using Smithing Stones.

Smithscript Dagger

The third dagger is the Smithscript Dagger. De facto, it belongs to the throwing weapon category, but the name itself indicates that it's a dagger, so it can be mentioned in our list.

You can obtain the Smithscript Dagger by looting the remains of a corpse found in a large lava-filled room in the Ruined Forge Lava Intake dungeon, located in the Gravesite Plain. The corpse with the Smithscript Dagger can be found leaning against the back wall near a large, slow enemy. It is located on the lowest level of the dungeon, near a large lava pool, close to the lower end of a large metal pipe suspended over the lava. Loot the corpse remains to obtain the Smithscript Dagger.

This type of weapon allows you to throw daggers at enemies using regular and heavy attacks and gives the Piercing Throw ability, which lets you pierce through enemies from a greater distance. The skill cost is 8 FP, and like the previous daggers, it can be combined with Ashes of War.
