Following the significant overhaul of Patch 7.39, Valve has released Patch 7.39b - a focused balance update that targets overperforming heroes, adjusts neutral items, and introduces a few minor map tweaks. This micro-patch serves as a response to early meta shifts and player feedback, aiming to stabilize gameplay across both casual and competitive scenes.
Map Changes
- The bottom Radiant Tier 1 tower has been shifted slightly south.
- Trees have been added and adjusted above that tower and on the western side of the lane.
- Juking path on the eastern side near Radiant Mid Tier 2 has been refined.
- One tree south of Dire Top Tier 1 has been removed.
- Fixed warding positions that were unintentionally blocked.
Neutral Item Updates
Only one neutral item received targeted adjustments to tone down overperforming effects and remove unintended interactions.

- Health Restoration loss from Pollinate increased from 20% to 30%.
Dezun Bloodrite
- Attacks treated as abilities (e.g., Arcane Orb, Poison Attack) no longer interact with this item.
- AoE bonus from Blood Invocation reduced from 15% to 12%.
Giant’s Maul
- Crushing Blow debuff duration reduced from 4s to 3s.

Magnifying Monocle
- Keen Eye bonus range reduced from 125 to 100.
Helm of the Undying
- Death Delay cooldown increased from 50s to 100s.
Enchant Updates
Minor tuning to enchant effects aimed at balancing their impact in the early and mid game.
Crude
- Health Restoration bonus increased from +20/30% to +30/40%.
- Intelligence reduction nerfed from 8% to 5%.

Hero Updates
Several heroes were fine-tuned to correct outliers in performance, with both buffs and nerfs reflecting early meta feedback.

- Mana Burn percentage increased for both Counterspell variants, up to 300%.

- Ion Shell duration decreased.
- Wall of Replica radius reduced.

Dazzle
- Weave now increases Heal Amplification by 7.5% instead of 5%.
Disruptor
- Thunder Strike slow duration reduced.
Doom
- Base HP regeneration lowered to 0.66.

Elder Titan
- Base movement speed reduced to 305.
Enchantress
- Nature’s Attendants now summons 9 wisps instead of 8.
Enigma
- Eidolons now automatically attack the target of their parent Eidolon.

Kez
- Falcon Rush now works on unit-targeted abilities.
- Falcon Rush duration increased.
- Talon Toss: Mana cost reduced to 60/75.
- Shodo Sai: Bonus status effects and critical strike functionality restored.
