Dota 2 Releases TI14 Compendium — First Ever Completely Free

Valve has released the compendium for The International 2025, and for the first time, it is completely free for all players. Users have access to all features—from Fantasy to predictions—without the need for a purchase. The tournament's prize pool is now funded not through the compendium but via team bundles and staff bundles, with revenue shared between the pool and the teams.

How to Earn Points

To level up the compendium, participation in Fantasy and making match predictions is required. The system considers predictions on the results of the group stage, including which teams will or will not advance to the playoffs, teams with records of 4-0 and 0-4, as well as results of 4-1 and 1-4. The higher the accuracy of predictions, the more points and rewards participants receive. This format makes participation more interactive and directly links prediction success to compendium progress.

Rewards for Participants

Valve has prepared a series of prizes to be awarded among the most active and successful players. The rewards include five new Immortal sets, a Dota Plus subscription, a token for obtaining an arcana, and a discount on the purchase of a physical copy of the Aegis of Champions. The main trophy—a replica of the Aegis of Champions—is available in the store for $150. However, Valve will provide it for free to the top 1500 predictors.

The International 2025 will take place from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. The main event will feature 16 teams competing for the championship title and a prize pool, which includes an initial $1,600,000 and 30% from the sales of support bundles.
