About Bo3.gg’s Rating System

Although we reserve the right to keep the Bo3.gg CS2 player rating formula confidential, we are ready to reveal some key elements.

At the core of the rating system is an advanced player evaluation model consisting of eight sub-ratings that assess statistical data, including damage dealt, number of kills, and survival. These metrics are considered in the context of a specific map, side (T or CT), and team economy. To ensure objectivity, a player's stats are compared to the average values on the professional scene under the same conditions.

Each of the eight sub-ratings has a different level of importance. For example, the kill rating has a greater impact on the final score than the survival rating. Based on the individual sub-ratings, a player’s rating is calculated for each round played, then for the entire map and match.

The final player rating is expressed on a scale from 0 to 10, where 0 is the lowest value and 10 is the highest.

#10. mezii

In a month dominated by Vitality, mezii quietly played one of his best months ever. The British rifler stepped up as a reliable finisher, closing rounds, clutching under pressure, and supporting his teammates at critical moments. His performance was especially strong during the playoff stage at IEM Melbourne. As Vitality marched to the title and completed their Grand Slam, mezii proved that he’s much more than just a role player. His 6.5 rating and 0.76 kills per round underline how effective he was.

#9. degster

Although April ended with degster leaving the Falcons lineup to make way for m0NESY, he still made his mark before the transfer. His best moment came at PGL Bucharest 2025, where Falcons won the trophy and he earned an EVP for his performance. While his rating of 6.3 isn’t outstanding, his overall play and impact in the final matches helped secure the title. That alone was enough to earn him a spot in this month’s top 10.

#8. hallzerk

Hallzerk's AWPing was a huge factor behind Complexity’s impressive fourth-place finish at PGL Bucharest. He played consistently throughout the event and had some key rounds that helped turn close games in their favor. Even though the team couldn’t repeat their success in Melbourne, hallzerk still stood out as their top performer. With a 6.6 rating and an EVP to his name, the Norwegian sniper proved he’s capable of playing at the highest level.

#7. frozen

FaZe Clan are clearly going through a tough period, but frozen remains a bright spot. In Bucharest, where FaZe finished third, frozen delivered another solid performance that earned him an EVP. He’s been FaZe’s most consistent player, rarely having off games, even as the team struggles to find form. His 6.4 rating might not be top of the list, but his steady impact makes him one of April’s best performers.

#6. Grim

Grim continues to shine for Complexity, showing he has fully stepped into the leadership void left by EliGE’s departure. He had a great showing at Bucharest and followed it up with an impressive individual performance at IEM Melbourne, even though Complexity didn’t make it to playoffs. His 6.8 rating and 88.72 ADR speak volumes about how impactful he was. He didn’t get an EVP, but he was close. If he keeps this up, he could break into the top 5 next month.

#5. HeavyGod

G2 may be in a complicated situation, but HeavyGod gave the fans something to cheer about this April. At Bucharest, he helped lead the team to a second-place finish and showed that he can perform under pressure. With a rating of 6.6 and 0.75 kills per round, he was a key figure in G2’s attack. As the team looks for stability, HeavyGod has a real chance to grow into a star.

#4. NiKo

April was a big month for NiKo. He won PGL Bucharest 2025 with Falcons, earning MVP for his dominant play. He followed that with another strong showing in Melbourne, finishing as runner-up and securing an EVP. NiKo’s impact on the server was clear – high entry success, mid-round presence, and excellent clutch potential. He posted a 6.4 rating overall, which may not seem insane, but his influence went beyond the numbers.

#3. ropz

Ropz continues to be one of the smartest and most consistent players in CS2. He played a huge role in helping Vitality win IEM Melbourne and finish their Grand Slam run. His stats were elite: 6.8 rating, 0.8 kills per round, and only 0.56 deaths per round. That combination of efficiency and reliability makes him one of the most dangerous lurkers in the game. He earned another EVP and is a big reason Vitality are currently the best team in the world.

#2. m0NESY

M0NESY changed teams, but not his level. He moved from G2 to Falcons and instantly reached two finals in a row – Bucharest and Melbourne. Despite losing both, he earned EVPs at both events thanks to his amazing individual form. He averaged a 6.8 rating and 0.8 kills per round. His transition to a new team looked seamless, and he was the main reason Falcons pushed Vitality to their limits in Melbourne. A superstar in every sense.

#1. ZywOo

Once again, ZywOo stands at the top. He was the best player of April 2025 by far. He earned MVP at IEM Melbourne and led Vitality to their Grand Slam title. He was incredibly stable across every game and seemed to perform even better against top opponents. His numbers are insane: 7.2 rating, 0.82 kills per round, and 90.49 ADR. He’s in the best form of his life and is currently the clear #1 in the world.

April belonged to Vitality, with ZywOo and ropz leading the charge. Falcons looked promising with m0NESY and NiKo, and Complexity proved they can fight at the top level thanks to Grim and hallzerk. Even with team struggles, players like frozen and HeavyGod stepped up. With BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, PGL Astana 2025, and IEM Dallas 2025 just around the corner, May could be the biggest month of the year – and this list might look very different soon.
