The second act of the 2025 season is coming to an end. With the upcoming patch 10.08, marking the start of act V25A3, the game will, as always, introduce a new set of Exclusive-tier weapons. That's why we've prepared a brief overview to tell you all about the upcoming collection.

Collection Overview

The Divergence set was announced on April 28 with a short teaser on the game's social media. It showcased an otherworldly "something" resembling a deformed cube, reminiscent of the anomaly from Arcane, with the tagline: “Another dimension awaits.” The promo card for the collection looks like this:

Set Design

The set design is inspired by an anomaly from the Arcane world. This is indicated by the cube located where the hextech core of the weapon is expected to be, as well as the smooth light flow across the weapon's surface during shooting and inspection—an effect similar to Jayce's hammer in the series. Additionally, in the animation after the last kill of the round, there is a transfer to another dimension where the anomaly resides. All of this suggests that the references for the skins were taken from the series.

Set Features

Apart from the reference from the Arcane world, in each round, depending on the number of kills, the weapon visually transforms. Divergence has an incredibly beautiful final animation, which teammates can also enter. The set features four different colorways. Unfortunately, this set does not include its own flex item.

The collection includes a melee skin and four types of weapon skins. Each weapon, as always, has four color variations. The set also includes a player card, spray, and gun buddy.

Set Price

The Divergence collection is a unique skin set: it has excellent design, a round-ending animation featuring an otherworldly realm, weapon progression throughout the round, a stylish player card, and a gun buddy. The official price of the set has not yet been announced, but data miners have already reported that the cost of a single skin will be 2175 Valorant Points, which automatically classifies the collection as Exclusive-tier. The full set will cost 8700 VP.

Release Date in the Valorant Store

The set will be available immediately with the release of patch 10.08. The collection will be purchasable for two weeks after its appearance in the store. Later, skins from the set will have a chance to appear in the regular store individually. For more details on the patch, check the link.
