Zellsis denies rumors of leaving Sentinels

With the departure of players like TenZ and Sacy, who supported the Valorant scene since its inception, Sentinels player Zellsis commented on the possibility of his resignation. He expressed his desire for the organization to create a CS2 division after it was announced that the number of teams in the biggest CS2 tournament would expand from 24 to 32.

On his X account, Zellsis wrote, "Sentinels, create a CS2 division", which sparked speculation among fans about his potential move to another team. In response to these comments, he stated, "I am not leaving Sentinels. I just want the division to be created".

Zellsis added:

It seems everyone thinks I will leave too since TenZ and Sacy have retired. But that’s not the case. I want to play for as long as possible. I promise I won't retire next year for sure.

In 2024, Sentinels achieved impressive results, winning the VCT 2024 Masters Madrid and finishing 4th at the VALORANT Champions 2024. However, with TenZ and Sacy retirements, the team signed new players: bang from 100 Thieves, N4RRATE from Karmine Corp, and Reduxx from Oxygen Esports as a substitute.

Despite the departure of two veterans, at the recently held Sentinels Showmatch 2024, the team, led by Tarik, secured a resounding victory over Tarik’s Allstars with a score of 3-0, instilling optimism about their future successes.
