The first open qualifiers for the VCL 2024 North America: Split 1 have concluded, resulting in four teams being selected, one of which represents a university.

The first qualifiers for the VCL 2024 North America: Split 1 were sensational in two respects. Previously, we reported on the league's first female player making it to the Challengers league. Now, another historic moment has occurred - the first team representing an American university has passed the qualification.

The Glazers and Winthrop University became the third and fourth teams, respectively, to make it through the open qualifiers to the VCL 2024 North America: Split 1. They will join the two other teams known from the previous day to participate in the league.

The second open qualifiers are scheduled for February 12th. As a result, we will learn about two more fortunate teams that will participate in the VCL 2024 North America: Split 1 and will have the opportunity to enter into a two-year partnership with Riot Games, which will significantly improve their financial situation.
