Will the Icebox map return to the competitive rotation in Valorant?

On Monday, the Valorant Leaks & News page posted an image reminding players of the date when the Icebox map was removed from Valorant's competitive rotation. It was officially removed in April 2023 to make way for the return of the Bind map.

The post sparked excitement within the community, with many expressing a desire for the map to make a swift return to the competitive rotation. Nicole "Noia" Tierce, the Shopify Rebellion defender and 2023 inclusive scene world champion, commented, "I miss the Icebox map." Other Valorant scene stars, including members of the Fnatic team and LOUD player Arthur "tuyz" Vieira, echoed similar sentiments.

If the Icebox map does return to the competitive rotation, some changes can be expected. Riot Games had previously stated their intention to make adjustments to the map to enhance its balance and make it more engaging for gameplay.

Valorant developers have not yet confirmed whether the Icebox map will indeed return to the competitive rotation. However, considering the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the community, it seems quite likely.
