“We plan to block almost 500,000 accounts” - Vanguard representative announces a new wave of blocking

Cheaters exist in all competitive games, and Valorant is no exception. But the Riot Games shooter is actively fighting them, and today it became known that representatives of the anti-cheat team Vanguard are planning to conduct a large-scale wave of blocking again.

Half a million cheaters will be blocked

GamerDoc, who works for Riot Vanguard, shared some interesting information on his official social media. He said that the team plans to conduct large-scale waves of blocking every 2 weeks, and within the framework of the next blocking, approximately 500,000 accounts will be blocked, those players who have been pumping their accounts with bots.

We have launched another wave of bot bans on VALORANT, this time targeting ~500,000 accounts worldwide. Once again, if you have not manually pumped your accounts, the ban will be applied correctly and you will see a screenshot in the tweet. In our efforts to combat this phenomenon, we will be implementing a wave of bot account bans every 2 weeks.

In addition, GamerDoc also stated that Vanguard representatives are fighting not only against infringers but also against representatives of prohibited software. Thus, farms that distribute and sell accounts and cheats will also be blocked.

In addition, we are banning bot farms that we have noticed to make their work more difficult. This is one of many steps we are constantly working on. We will no longer allow them to prepare accounts.

It should be noted that Vanguard can be considered one of the most effective anti-cheats among all competitive games. The team regularly develops to fight against various cheats and their distribution.
