At the VCT AMERICAS press conference, NRG Esports player, known as Victor, made an announcement sharing the team's formation process and plans for the season.

Victor explained that their absence from offline tournaments was due to lengthy negotiations with players Ethan and Demon1. He emphasized that they started training just a month ago, but team synchronization is already going successfully. Regarding the new player, Demon1, his gameplay mechanics are rated at the highest level, and he excels in macro play and team instructions.

Responding to a question about the "super team" label, Victor emphasized that they don't feel any special pressure and consider themselves as such. They hope to win as many tournaments as possible, but they do not underestimate other teams and continue to train diligently. Concluding his speech, he stated:

If we fail to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Madrid or do not show good results there, and perhaps do not win, we will be considered failures.

 

He also emphasized that "this team is built for victory" and set high standards, believing that they should be among the top three leaders on the global Valorant scene. The first match of the new NRG is scheduled for February 17 against FURIA.
