Riot Games is preparing significant changes for VALORANT in 2025, introducing expanded leagues, updated competition formats, and a longer season. These changes aim to improve the gaming experience for both professionals and fans. The road to the VALORANT championship title begins in January 2025 and will culminate in a spectacular finale at Champions Paris in October.
Expanded League Structure
For the 2025 season, the number of teams in each league will increase to 12. Teams from the EMEA, Pacific, China, and Americas regions will participate, resulting in more exciting matches.

Mid-season, teams will be reshuffled into new groups of six to add variety to the matches. The 2025 season will run from January to October, providing players with more time for recovery and preparation.
