Today, the information channel VALO2ASIA shared an interesting piece of news about the popularity of various games in Chinese computer clubs. According to the portal, the shooter from Riot Games rounds out the top five most popular disciplines among Chinese gamers.

According to information from the Shunwang Star Research Institute, the Riot Games shooter consistently appears on the list of most popular games in Chinese internet cafes. Since its official launch in July 2023, Valorant has maintained the fifth position in the popularity ranking every month. It's worth noting that the studies from Shunwang Star Research Institute began in June of this year when the game was in tenth place, but since then, it has steadily held the fifth spot. Therefore, it can be assumed that Valorant may climb a few steps higher in the future.

Here is what the top 5 most popular games in China look like

  1. League of Legends
  2. CrossFire
  3. Dungeon & Fighter
  4. NARAKA: BLADEPOINT
  5. VALORANT

Interestingly, there is only one representative of the FPS genre in the top, and that's CrossFire, which outranks Valorant by 3 positions. In first place is another game from Riot Games - League of Legends, whose Chinese league LPL, is one of the most famous in the discipline.
