Yesterday it became known that the players Tilen "Grmekista" Grmek, Ivan "Prti" Erak, and coach Pavle "pakko" Kostić are returning to the current roster of Diamant Esports, after leaving the team one and a half months ago. This was announced by representatives of the Slovenian organization on their Twitter account.

The heart, soul and brains of the project remain, as we welcome back coach 🇷🇸@pakkoVAL_ along with players 🇸🇮@grmek77 and 🇷🇸 @prtiVAL 💎 💎 💎

The team had a fairly mediocre success this competitive season. Despite winning the tier-3 tournament Game Gang Show 2023, Diamant Esports took 3rd place at the Valorant Challengers 2023 East: Surge Split 2. The bronze place can be considered both a pleasant and a bad result, and here's why. By taking third place, the team earned 90 points in the VCL East league and 4th place in the overall standings. This did not allow the team to make it to the qualifying stage of EMEA Ascension Play-In, or to the EMEA Ascension tournament itself. But on the other hand, thanks to the fourth place, the club secured an invitation to the next season of VCL East 2024. It is still unknown whether performance was the main reason for the players' departure, but just a month later two main players and the coach returned to the team.
Current lineup of Diamant Esports
It is still unclear whether other former members will also return to the roster, but the organization is putting a special emphasis on this pair, calling them the main organs, like the heart, brain, and also the soul.
The heart, soul, and brain of the project remained and we welcome the return of coach pakko along with players Grmekista and Grmekista. Expect the lineup news soon because VALORANT EAST: UNITED is not far off.
We remind you that the team faces the qualifying stage of Valorant East: United: Season 2: Stage 3 - League. In it, 8 teams including Diamant Esports will fight for the total prize fund of 3,500 dollars, three slots for Valorant East United Season 2 Stage 3 - Finals, and four invitations to the Last Chance Cup. The first matches of the qualifiers start tomorrow, but it is still unknown who will play under the flag of the Slovenian team. Most likely, the team will invite external players to fill in.
