The grand final of VALORANT East: United: Season 3: Split 1 - Finals has concluded, where two teams competed for a slot in VALORANT Challengers 2024 East: Surge Split 2 and a $5,000 prize.

Both amateur teams, trashcan and Szach Mat, competing in today's grand final, had the opportunity to advance one step further into the Challengers league. The first place also offered a pleasant cash bonus of $5,000.

The victory in the final was claimed by the team trashcan, earning them a slot in VALORANT Challengers 2024 East: Surge Split 2. However, the runner-up team Szach Mat still has a chance to enter the Challengers league. They not only received $1,500 for second place but also a slot in the VCL East: Split 1 Promotion Cup, where two additional league slots will be contested.

The start of VALORANT Challengers 2024 East: Surge Split 2 is scheduled for May 20th, with 10 teams competing for a portion of the $20,000 prize pool and VCL East Points needed to qualify for the Ascension tournament.
