Tournament operator Hero Esports accidentally confirmed Valorant's participation in the Esports World Cup

Hero Esports, one of the organizers of the Asian Champions League 2025, inadvertently confirmed the inclusion of Valorant in this series of tournaments. This indirectly confirms the presence of Valorant in the Esports World Cup.

The Asian Champions League 2025 is a Chinese tournament series featuring various disciplines and is a partner of the EWC. Winners of competitions in each discipline earn a slot in the Esports World Cup. Currently, tournaments have been officially announced for the following disciplines: Dota 2, Honor of Kings, Counter-Strike 2, Teamfight Tactics, Delta Force, and CrossFire. The total prize pool of all tournaments is $2 million.

However, Hero Esports recently published a statement by mistake, noticed by journalist Tanmay. The list, in addition to the previously known games, mentioned Valorant. This confirms that Riot Games and the EWC have reached an agreement, and in 2025 Valorant will be included in the world championship. This news will have a positive impact on the Valorant scene, as teams will gain another opportunity to showcase themselves on the global stage, and fans will have a new tournament to support their favorites.

Whether this information will be confirmed will become known within the next two weeks, as the EWC plans to announce the last five of the 24 disciplines for the 2025 championships during this period.
