A few weeks ago, Riot Games announced a new in-game event called Valorant Community Challenges 2023. The essence of it is that all players will have several tasks to complete within a certain time.
A few days after the announcement, the developers shared details about the upcoming event. The event will run from November 27th to December 15th, and all players are eligible to participate. The Valorant community will need to complete three simple tasks, after which everyone who participated will receive a message with a code that can be used to claim certain prizes.
Over the next three weeks, we will be releasing challenges related to various game modes, play styles, and overall contributions to your team's success. Naturally, you will all be participating in this together to achieve certain goals, but there will still be friendly competition along the way. Once you and the community complete the given task, you will be provided with a code that you can activate online to receive several fun rewards at the end of the year.
The first stage of the event will take place in Team Deathmatch mode. Players from around the world will need to play 555,555 matches, which will count towards the overall score. Once the required number of matches is played, players will receive a code they can exchange for a keychain.
The second week's task will take place in all modes. Players will need to make 500/300/100 kills using Vandal or Phantom weapons. After completing the task, the community will receive cards featuring Deadlock and Gekko, as well as Skye, Fenix, and Cypher.
The event in the last week will be about assisting allies in killing enemies. Players will need to earn a total of 300,000,000 assist points, after which they will receive graffiti featuring the summon Gekko.
Remember, this is not the last event planned for the end of this year in Valorant. Developers also promise to reveal a new map, details of which will appear on December 3rd, during the grand final of the women's world championship. Read more about the new map and the championship in our material.
