Three players from the Fokus Valorant team have been moved to the inactive roster following the end of this year's German Challengers league season, in which the team failed to qualify for Ascension.
After the conclusion of the last tournament of the season for German teams - VALORANT Challengers 2024 DACH: Evolution Split 2, where Fokus finished in fourth place, earning €2,500 and 100 VCL DACH Points, they secured third place in the overall ranking. However, this was not enough to continue competing for a VCT slot this year.
Three players, Lewis "YaBoiLewis" Hughes, Felix "al0rante" Brandl and Maximilian "bucher" Bucher, announced on their social media that their contracts are expiring soon. While they remain part of Fokus for now, they are open to considering offers to join new teams.
Fokus Valorant active roster after changes:
The organization stated that it does not plan to exit the Valorant discipline. Most players' contracts are expiring, and negotiations are underway with some of them to renew their contracts. This is being done to create a more competitive roster in the future.
