"This time was incredible" - Renowned spanish coach Future ends his esports career in Valorant

Yesterday, sad news became known to all fans of the Spanish Valorant scene. Renowned coach Cristian "Future" Duarte, who has coached teams on the professional scene for over three years, announced that he is definitively leaving the discipline.

Future announced his decision on his official social networks. In his Twitter account, Cristian posted a long 18-minute video where he speaks in Spanish about his 10-year journey in the esports segment and about Valorant. Future added that his journey has been incredible, and in 10 years he has achieved everything he aspired to.

I HAVE DECIDED TO LEAVE ESPORTS. It has been over 10 incredible years where virtually nothing remained unachieved; I could commentate historic games, win trophies, and establish friendships that go beyond the screen.

Cristian "Future" Duarte - a 29-year-old Spanish coach, started his journey in Valorant at the end of 2021 as the head coach of 19esports. A few months later, he moved to Team RA'AD as an assistant coach and helped the team win several important trophies. Among them are victories at both stages of VALORANT Challengers 2023 MENA: Resilience Split, and first place at the off-season RUSH Gaming Festival #3.

It is still unknown whether Future is definitively leaving the discipline. Former players and coaches often become content creators or commentators, remaining in the limelight of the community even after ending their careers. We will follow the coach's official social media to find out details about his future.
