“This is one of the worst announcements” - BoDork expresses negative views on the quality of Evil Geniuses' player announcements

Journalist and esports manager BoDork expressed his dissatisfaction with the quality of the announcement of new members of the Evil Geniuses Valorant team. He noted that compared to other clubs of the same caliber, he considers it one of the worst announcements.

On January 26, Evil Geniuses, despite rumors of a possible exit from Valorant due to financial difficulties, decided to stay in the discipline and introduced their players. Each participant received their own one-minute video announcement, showcasing their best moments from matches, as well as personal comments. More details can be found in another one of our articles.

BoDork pointed out that forcing their players to record videos on their personal mobile phones and then publishing them sequentially on social networks does not meet the standards of a top club like Evil Geniuses, which participates in the franchised American league VCT Americas League.

Having your players record a video ON THEIR PHONES about joining EG and then posting them all at once on a Twitter thread has got to be one of the worst roster announcements in esports history

Remember that Evil Geniuses will soon start their season with VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Kickoff. Fans will have the opportunity to see if the updated roster can at least come close to the success of the previous lineup, which won the world championship in 2023.
