The honor system was first mentioned by The Valorant Times channel, which publishes humorous, but fictional news about the game. In its publication, it was stated that the developers would add an honor system, through which you can praise your allies or, conversely, rate their bad behavior and complain about it. Although it was just a playful fake news, the Valorant community supported the idea.
As players assure, the honor system, or simply Honor, is a very necessary thing. With it, Valorant will filter players with low and high honor. As a result, honorable and honest players will play with each other, and those with low Honor will need to increase it in order to be able to play with normal players.
For now, information about the honor system is only at the level of discussion among players, but considering the attention and positive feedback, it can be assumed that Riot Games will pay attention to the Honor system, and perhaps will introduce it in Valorant in the future.
