The Valorant community has found the first bug related to the ultimate of the new agent ISO

Today, Valorant released patch 7.09, which among a variety of content, introduced a new agent to the game. The Chinese duelist ISO has become a major topic of discussion due to his unique ultimate, the first bug of which was found just a few hours after release.

The uniqueness of the new character lies in his ultimate ability - KILL CONTRACT, which when activated, ISO moves an enemy hero to a closed location. There, a 1v1 duel occurs without the use of abilities, and only with the weapons that the players had during the round. The duel has a 15-second time limit, and if neither player kills the other within this time, both are automatically deemed defeated and they die.

The bug related to the ultimate was found by a Japanese Twitter user with the nickname omengomen. The ultimate's description states that ISO teleports the enemy hero to a closed interstitial location, which implies that other agents should not be able to interact with the duelist and his opponent. However, omengomen discovered a bug that allows intervention in the duel using Astra’s ultimate, thus helping the allied ISO to win.

As seen in the video, when the allied ISO called Sage to a duel, Astra used her ult Stars to enter astral form and fly under the textures. There she finds the duel location and uses Nova Pulse, as a result of which, the enemy Sage is stunned. After that, ISO kills Sage, but the assistance is credited to the allied Astra, proving that she hit the enemy with her ability.

It is still unclear whether an enemy Astra can interfere in ISO's ability to win the duel in this way or use other abilities. But considering that the new duelist has only been released to all players today, we will likely see even more bugs and interactions with his abilities soon.
