With each new update, game files reveal more references to the return of one of the first collections - Sovereign, specifically, the release of its second installment.
In a previous article, we mentioned that a reference to the Sovereign 2.0 collection and the types of weapons included in this set appeared in the game's code. However, after opening the server for the beta test of the upcoming patch 8.05, even more references to this collection appeared in the files, hinting at its possible release in the near future.
The game files revealed: the background of the collection, the colors of the upcoming collection's skins, which will be four in total, and the kill icons of the Sovereign 2.0 collection. More details about them can be seen in the image below.
It should be reminded that Riot Games has already announced another collection that has not yet been released for sale. Therefore, expecting Sovereign 2.0 to replace the current one on the shelf seems unlikely.
