On August 27, the Mongolian esports team The MongolZ officially announced their participation in the VALORANT Challengers 2024 Southeast Asia: Split 3 tournament, which will take place in October.

Resolving Participation Issues

Previously, the team faced issues after successfully passing Premier and expressed difficulties in participating in the Challengers League. However, according to the latest information, the problem was successfully resolved with the assistance of Riot Games. As a result, Mongolia will now officially be part of the Southeast Asian region.

According to representatives of The MongolZ, this decision marks an important step forward not only for their team but also for all Mongolian teams that will compete on the professional Valorant stage in the future. Reorganization of Regions in Southeast Asia

The reorganization of regions in Southeast Asia, which will begin with Split 3, has unified six previously independent regions: Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia-Singapore, Taiwan-Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Thailand. Mongolia has also joined this union, with Team Trinity already qualifying for Split 3, making them and The MongolZ teams to watch in the upcoming tournament.
