Today, May 7th, the VCT Japan Twitter account announced an important schedule change for the upcoming "Official VCT 2024 Pacific Stage 2 Tournament" in South Korea, scheduled for June 22nd.
Originally planned meetings with ZETA DIVISION and DetonatioN FocusMe team members, which were supposed to take place before the matches, have been moved to after the matches. According to the updated schedule, meetings with the teams will be held for 30 minutes each after the completion of Match 2. Tournament attendees will have the opportunity to attend these meetings, and tickets to watch the Stage 2 group stage matches will also be provided.
Meeting with players can be considered one of the brightest moments of this tour, but some note that since it is held before the match, it may affect the players' condition. In response to the criticism, VCT Japan announced that the meeting and greeting will be changed from before the match to after it. In addition, regular fans who are not tournament participants are also allowed to participate.
The meeting and greeting will be held for 30 minutes for each team after Match 2 (ZETA vs DFM). Tournament participants will be given priority, and the general audience will be able to participate. (In some cases, general participation may be conducted by lottery.)
