The main star of Talon Esports suspends his activity in Valorant indefinitely

Today, representatives of the Thai club Talon Esports announced sad news for all fans of the team. From the official statement, it became known that Patiphan "Patiphan" Chaiwong is taking an indefinite break from Valorant.

As the player himself reports, he has temporarily lost interest in the game itself. Every match for him is a struggle with himself, and he does not want to let down his teammates. He thanked the fans for their support and promised to return stronger when he is ready.

I've been meaning to share some thoughts with you for a while now, and I believe it's important to be open about what's been going on. Lately, I've been feeling a decline in interest in the game. Even logging in has become difficult, and I find myself constantly struggling with myself. It would be unfair to continue playing in front of my teammates when thoughts of stepping back are constantly on my mind. I want to thank the fans who have stood by me over the years. Your support means the world to me. I can't say when I will regain my competitive spirit, but I know it will happen, and when it does, I will come back stronger than ever.

Patiphan joined the team in October 2022, but during his time with the team, he did not achieve significant success. His performance in the VCT 2023: Pacific League ended with a 9th place finish, and later the team along with the player failed the VCT 2023: Pacific Last Chance Qualifier, as a result of which they did not make it to the past world championship.

The organization also thanked the player and wished him to find inspiration again. It is still unknown when the Thai player plans to return, but it can be assumed that it will not be earlier than before the start of the competitive season in 2024.
