The main star of Bleed Esports will miss the ONE PRO INVITATIONAL 2023 - The team will play with their coach

Today, the organizers of the ONE PRO INVITATIONAL 2023 announced changes in the lineup of one of the participating teams. Singapore's top team Bleed Esports will compete in the upcoming tournament without their main star, Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker.

As representatives of the team stated, Jaccob faced unforeseen health problems, leading him to decide to miss the tournament. The team will participate in the ONE PRO INVITATIONAL 2023 with their coach, Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić. Yay apologized to his fans, expressing regret for missing the event in Japan, a country that holds a special place in his heart.

I'm sorry that I can't be present at this event. I know many of you were eagerly awaiting my participation, and the feeling is mutual. Japan has always had a special place in my heart, and it's my number one place. I hope you will still love my team as much as you love me, Riot Games ONE forward.

Bleed Esports was one of the first teams to receive an invitation to the upcoming tournament, but now the team's performance remains in question. Although LEGIJA is a former professional CS:GO player with significant experience in shooters, this replacement could negatively impact the club's performance. Yay is a star player of the team and one of the strongest players on the tier-1 scene, so it is assumed that the team might not achieve high placements.

Remember, the ONE PRO INVITATIONAL 2023 will take place from December 2nd to 3rd in Japan, at the K Arena Yokohama. Four invited teams will compete without a prize fund, as the event will be in a show-match format.
