After winning the closed qualifiers for VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA Stage 1, the German team FOKUS Sakura announced the departure of two substitute players on their Twitter profile.
The VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA Stage 1 competition took place from February 3 to 4, where FOKUS Sakura demonstrated a solid performance, achieving significant success that led them to the main event. Two substitute players, Neli and LilBob, played a crucial role. Although they may not be widely known to the public, they have traversed through various teams and built a substantial list of performances over the years.
Neli was previously noticed in the lineup of EXCEL GC and FUT Female, where she competed in the series of tournaments Game Changers EMEA Contenders. In 2023, she, along with the team, won the first series of the tournament and secured the second position in Stage 2. German player LilBob previously played alongside Neli in EXCEL GC, and later she joined several lesser-known clubs without achieving significant results.
At the moment, the fate of the club is unknown, but considering the approaching VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA Stage 1, the team will soon announce additions to the roster.
