The first participants of the European qualifiers for Red Bull Home Ground #4 have been revealed

Recently, the organizers from Red Bull announced on their official Twitter page the names of the first two teams that received invitations to Red Bull Home Ground #4 - EMEA Qualifier. FUT Esports and Team Heretics, along with two yet unknown teams, will be competing for a single slot in the main tournament.

It's worth noting that recent rumors confirmed that the European qualifiers will take place in a LAN format in the Turkish city of Istanbul. More about this can be found in our article. After this information, it became clear that one of the invited teams would be from the Turkish region, and it turned out to be FUT Esports. The team had a rather mediocre season but managed to secure the 7-8th position at the Valorant Champions 2023 World Championship, making them the first Turkish team to achieve such results. It's important to mention that after the transfer window opened, the organization began major changes in the roster. As of today, the team only has three active players, implying that the team will most likely be playing with substitutes.

Team Heretics, representatives of Spain, also didn't achieve any significant success in the current season. The team failed in all major tournaments they participated in: VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo 17-32nd place, VCT 2023: EMEA League - 8th place. Later, they ranked 5-6th in the Last Chance Qualifier, effectively closing their path to the world championship.

We'd like to remind you that the European qualifiers for Red Bull Home Ground #4 will take place from October 14 to 15 in Istanbul. Four teams, two of which are still unknown, will fight for the last slot in the main tournament, which will be held from November 3 to 5 in the capital of Japan, Tokyo. This event is a part of the recently announced OFF//SEASON series of events.
