The Valorant community has voiced their complaints about the current state of Deathmatch mode, highlighting its key flaws. For them, it serves as one of the primary elements for warming up before participating in ranked games.

A user named yuzde48 created a topic on the Reddit forum, where they pointed out the main flaws of Deathmatch mode, comparing it with CS2. The majority of forum participants supported their view and agreed with the identified shortcomings.

The player, under the pseudonym yuzde48, identified major flaws, including limitations on the number of kills and limited time, which does not always allow players to adequately prepare for serious matches.

They also pointed out the lack of exclusive maps similar to those in Team Deathmatch. Their view is that 5v5 maps are not ideally suited for Deathmatch mode due to the large number of corners where enemies can hide, playing for the win. In their opinion, the possibility of winning in Deathmatch mode is also a flaw, as this mode is intended exclusively for shooting practice.

It should be noted that the Deathmatch mode has remained without significant or even minor updates for a long time. Whereas Team Deathmatch, on the contrary, received another exclusive map as part of one of the recent major updates.
