The Chinese organization TYLOO is transitioning their player from the CS2 discipline to Valorant

Today, representatives of the Chinese team TYLOO announced an interesting addition to their Valorant roster on their Twitter account. It has been revealed that the organization has decided to move one of their Counter Strike 2 players to the Riot Games shooter.

The new player who will strengthen the Valorant team is Sun "SLOWLY" Kelun, a 22-year-old Chinese esports athlete who has been playing for TYLOO in CS:GO for over three years. The organization announced the transition in a video format, in which SLOWLY talked about his journey in CS and also shared his expectations from Valorant.

Interestingly, although it is common practice for players to switch from one discipline to another, SLOWLY's case stands out. Typically, the switch to Valorant, or vice versa, is made by players who have already been out of their respective shooters for some time, but Sun's situation is a bit different. Just a month ago, the professional player competed in the Perfect World Arena Premier League Season 5 CS:GO tournament, and today he is transitioning to Valorant.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the season in Valorant, TYLOO has not been very successful on the Chinese scene. The team failed both stages of the Valorant China Evolution Series, leaving the events in 7th-8th place twice. The team is looking forward to the third and final stage of VCE, where TYLOO, along with other teams, will compete for a partnership with Riot Games. The event starts in November 2023.
