With new players and changes to their strategy, the Brazilian esports organization FURIA Esports is preparing for its second season in the VCT Kickoff Americas with ambitions for high achievements in 2024. On Friday, the ninth, the team unveiled their new residence where players will be staying throughout the season.

By the end of 2023, the team signed three young talents in the form of Ilan "havoc" Eloy, Felipe "liazzi" Galiazzi, and Vitor "kon4n" Hugo, who took over FURIA Esports. With the new lineup, the club made its debut at the season-long tournament Multiplatform Esports Game 2023, where they took first place and claimed a prize pool of $12,000.

In a video released by FURIA Esports, they introduced new roles that club members will take on in the upcoming 2024 season. As we already know, Vitor "kon4n" Hugo will assume the role of captain, while Leonardo "mwzera" Serrati has switched to the duelist position. At the same time, Felipe "liazzi" Galiazzi and Ilan "havoc" Eloy are transitioning to the roles of flex player and controller, respectively.

With these updated roles, FURIA Esports will showcase their strengths at VCT 2024: Americas Kickoff, which begins on February 16, with their first opponent being NRG Esports.
