Another day of the VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 3: Heritability concluded tragically for two teams, exiting the competition in 5th-6th place. Meanwhile, the winners from their matches continue their quest for the title.
The match between Trace Esports and TEC Esports was their first-ever personal encounter. The teams had never played against each other before, making the match anticipated and unpredictable. However, it turned out to be a one-sided affair, as Trace Esports easily secured a 2:0 victory (Sunset 13:3, Haven 13:8).
In the second face-off between FunPlus Phoenix and Attacking Soul Esports, the latter had emerged victorious in all three previous meetings, positioning Attacking Soul Esports as the favorite for this match. However, FunPlus Phoenix managed to impress their fans, especially with a 13:1 win on the third map. Ultimately, the match concluded with a 2:1 victory in favor of FunPlus Phoenix.
The Valorant China Evolution Series Act 3 is taking place from November 16th to 26th, 2023. Twelve of the top Chinese region teams are competing for a total prize pool of $42,000, as well as EVO points required for qualification to the VCT 2023 China Ascension and direct partnership with Riot Games.
